Legacy of Ogoh Odaudu best Coach bought by BBC REG

REG BBC has appointed Ogoh Odaudu who was the best coach for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) 2024, alongside with Rivers Hoopers from Nigeria.

The 43-year-old Nigerian is set to assist the National Power Company team in the upcoming Regional Games scheduled for September 2024.

Geoffrey Zawadi, the Sports Coordinator at REG, confirmed to that this information is accurate.

He said, "Yes, we have brought coach Odaudu on a short-term contract with the aim of helping us in the Regional Games."

The coach will be assisted by Mushumba Charles, who is the head coach, and Mwiseneza Maxime.

Odaudu is a prominent coach in Nigeria, having won the Championship Cup five times since 2009 while coaching Rivers Hoopers. Additionally, he has been an assistant coach for the National Team since 2019.

Notably, this coach helped Rivers Hoopers secure third place in BAL 2024.

In the playoffs Games, REG BBC of third place, will play against APR BBC, which is in second place, while Patriots BBC, who finished first, will face Kepler BBC, which is in fourth place.
